| Grey Owl - Lover of the Wilderness |
| At the age of seventeen, Archie Belaney moved to Canada where he was adopted by the Ojibway. They named him Grey Owl. After spending years trapping, he began to realize that wildlife populations were becoming dangerously low. During the 1920’s and 30’s, he gave up his traplines to become a world-famous writer and lecturer on conservation.
This performance is based upon Grey Owl’s life, his short stories, and the legends of his people. Hearing it will engender in others a similar love and respect for the Earth that was embodied in the life of this great man. Time: approx. 1 ½ hrs. Two tables are needed.
