Home Canadian History Comes Alive

David Morris as Sir John A. MacdonaldThe Canadians

"Canadian history is boring." We have all heard this before, but not when history is presented by the very personalities who made it. From the intense Tecumseh, to the audacious Dumont, we see the pages of Canadian history come alive.

These fourty-five to seventy-five minute monologues are written to be performed in a classroom setting. A ten to fifteen minute discussion period follows when the students are encouraged to ask the character questions about his life.

A keener interest in our country’s heritage will result through the use of this dramatic series on Canadian history.

Cast of Characters:

Grey Owl Tecumseh Gabriel Dumont A Voyageur
Alexander Milton Ross WWI Infantry Soldier The Way of It - Native History
